I am not an expert. On virtually anything. I have interests, I have hobbies, and I have two majors, none of which I have mastered or would call myself an expert in. Additionally, I am not an expert on the female of our species. Truthfully, although I have spent twenty-two years on this Earth, I am also not an expert on men. I had to get that out of the way so that you, dear reader, know that this article is as likely to be gospel as it is fiction.
This article is about online dating, specially dating in apps. You know the apps, you might even have the apps. Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, and so on. I have been known to use one or two of these, and I don’t shy away from admitting it. In my opinion, these apps are revolutionary to the world of dating.

The good news is that it works. Preston Shapiro is a year-old restaurant manager from Denver who met his current girlfriend online. Natalie Payne is a year-old college student living in Des Moines who has mostly used dating apps like Tinder, Bumble and Hinge. After breaking up with a serious relationship in and living in Phoenix, I used it often and it helped me make some very good friends along the way.
The Good, the Bad & The Ugly of Online Dating!
I was a year out of college and I thought there was no better idea than the prospect of a serious relationship lol, 22 year old self. The gushy stories from love sick puppies in the eHarmony commercials played right into the hollow depths of my black heart. So, I spent my 22 year old money on a membership. This was a paid site! Which meant the guys were that much more serious because you had to pay for the matches, right!?
Navigating online dating has not been easy. The good news is that I can now fairly quickly discern the differences in these men, so that I can more rapidly factor out the bad and the ugly of online dating and save myself tons of time in the process.
